A Como, tutto comincia da un disegno. Lo si osserva, se ne cerca la misura, si decide che cosa custodire e che cosa lasciare libero. Solo dopo arriva la seta. Fra il primo tratto e l’ultimo orlo c’è il tempo di fare bene le cose. È qui che la qualità autentica acquista il suo significato.

I nostri disegni nascono da una ricerca originale e da archivi privati costruiti in oltre settant’anni di attività. Studi, bozzetti, fotografie e motivi d’epoca incontrano il Razionalismo comasco e la memoria dell’automobile storica. Non vengono conservati per nostalgia: sono pagine ancora aperte, capaci di suggerire forme nuove.

A questa memoria risponde una manifattura comasca che da più di settant’anni lavora la seta con la stessa, quieta dedizione. In laboratori di dimensione artigianale, il sapere si trasmette attraverso gesti precisi, materiali d’eccellenza e finiture sartoriali quasi interamente eseguite a mano. Dalla prima prova all’ultimo orlo, ogni foulard è seguito sotto la supervisione di una sola persona: una presenza costante, custode della qualità e dell’unicità di ciascun pezzo.

Per decenni, il lavoro di queste botteghe ha raggiunto i clienti per vie semplici: una visita, una conversazione, la fiducia costruita quasi porta a porta. Oggi la collezione attraversa i confini nazionali, senza perdere l’intimità delle origini. Ascoltare chi sceglie un foulard resta parte del nostro lavoro, quanto disegnarlo e rifinirlo. La stessa discrezione accompagna, da oltre quindici anni, il sostegno a un progetto filantropico internazionale.

In Como, everything begins with a drawing. It is studied, its measure is sought, and a choice is made about what to keep and what to leave free. Only then does the silk arrive. Between the first stroke and the last hem there is time to do things well. This is where authentic quality takes on its meaning.

Our designs grow from original research and from private archives built over more than seventy years of work. Studies, sketches, photographs and period motifs meet Como Rationalism and the memory of the historic motorcar. They are not kept out of nostalgia: they are pages still open, able to suggest new forms.

This memory is answered by a Como manufacturer that has worked silk for more than seventy years with the same quiet dedication. In workshops of artisan scale, knowledge is handed down through precise gestures, excellent materials and tailored finishes made almost entirely by hand. From the first proof to the last hem, every foulard is overseen by a single person: a constant presence, guardian of the quality and uniqueness of each piece.

For decades the work of these ateliers reached its clients by simple means: a visit, a conversation, trust built almost door to door. Today the collection crosses national borders without losing the intimacy of its origins. Listening to those who choose a foulard remains part of our work, as much as drawing and finishing it. The same discretion has accompanied, for more than fifteen years, our support of an international philanthropic project.
